The Colonels House

“La Casa de Los Coroneles” (The Colonels House) was built in the mid-nineteenth century, is located in the municipality of La Oliva, stands out for its outstanding architecture and particularly within the traditional buildings on the “majorera” island.

It is one of the largest canary houses, but the most important is his official residence Coronelato, who had the military dominance forming La Oliva.

The house has several spaces all connected among themselves and the service of a family who ran the future of this island. The house Colonels was founded in the seventeenth century by the family Cabrera Béthencourt.

In its facade highlights a number of holes with symmetrical windows on the bottom and balconies on the top and the middle carved.
