Lanzarote - Los Fiscos Hotel
Mystic Island
Lanzarote is the most unusual and astonishing island in the Canaries.
Visitors can enjoy the variety of landscapes and attractions to explore on the “mystic island”:
the Timanfaya National Park with its impressive volcanoes, the La Geria region with its green
vineyards on black soil, Papagayo with its golden-sandy beaches, El Golfo with its green lagoon
in a collapsed crater and the Risco de Famara with its endless beach stretching out below the cliff.
UNESCO Biosphere Reserve
Lanzarote’s landscape is the result of many years of struggles
by mankind to dominate the harsh climate and geology of the area.
Farming and fishing have been carried out in balance with the environment
and have become a sign of cultural and landscape identity. Lanzarote was
declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1993.
Cesar Manrique
Visitors to Lanzarote should not miss the art
and cultural centres scattered throughout the island.
Most of them were designed by the famous Lanzarote-born
artist Cesar Manrique, and they are a fascinating symbiosis
between natural beauty and intelligent architecture.
Eternal Spring
Lanzarote enjoys a pleasant, sunny climate
all year round. Sunshine and temperatures between
20 and 25 degrees are normal in the “Isles of Eternal Spring”.
Any time of the year is ideal for taking a trip, trying out
one of the outdoor sports activities on offer or enjoying
the marvellous beaches.
