The House and Museum of Countryman |
The House-Museum and Monument of Countryman“ are situated in the centre of the island, in the village of Mozaga .
The House-Museum was constructed by Cesar Manrique and Jesus Soto and opened in 1968. It´s an old restored hamlet recreating the rural architecture of the island. Its complex is divided into diverse spaces, e.g. a ceramic factory, an exposition of pottery and a reproduction of a tipical kitchen. Furthermore the visitor can have a look at different agricultural tools, photos, handmade products, textiles, furniture etc. Finally there is a nice restaurant in the museum offering only island tipical dishes.
