The Parque Eólico is situated on the right handside of the road from Teguise to Haría and features lots of modern windwheels. For many years this Aeolian park had shown antiquarian windmill exemplars that, due to lack of maintenance and operating efficiency, almost collapsed upon themselves. Finally Lanzarote decided to invert in the park and the old windmill ruins were replaced with the latest models of wind systems that nowadays are used for electricity generation.
