COSTA N-OESTE LANZAROTE

Costanoreste Lanzarote Surf School was founded in 1997 with two simple ideas in mind: to offer our guests an unforgettable surf experience and to act as a link for the big Snowboard and Skateboard community.

A few years later, we added the Kiteboading division to our school. The 5km long beach of Famara and its predominant northeast winds provide a unique location to safely practice Kiteboarding. Throughout the years, a lot of snowboarders, skaterboarders, and all kinds of people form all over the world, have chosen the Costa N-Oeste Surf Camp to learn how to surf or kitesurf.

Join us in beautiful Lanzarote and learn to surf or kitesurf from the local experts. We promise to make your first surfing or Kitesurfing experience exciting, memorable, fun and successful. The island is located off the coast of North Africa and boasts consistent surf and warm, clear water. Our base is Famara Beach, a spectacular 5 kilometer sand beach on the Northwest coast of Lanzarote.

Whether you have never surfed before or whether you just want to improve your skills, we have the coaching that will enable you to reach your goals. Our local instructors will work with you in small groups teaching beginner to advanced surfing fundamentals, which include water safety, surfing techniques, surf etiquette, proper equipment and wave selection. Beginners learn basic surfing techniques before entering the water as well about waves, currents, winds and tides. We will give you a safe and pleasurable beginning to the ultimate sport of surfing. Our Surf classes, which are taught in English, German, French and Spanish, are held on the beautiful beach of Caleta de Famara on the northwest coast of Lanzarote (natural park and Reserve of the Biosphere).

We provide top-of-the-line surfboards, bodyboards and wetsuits for all participants. We have everything from soft surfboards for beginners to high-performance longboards and shortboards for more experienced surfers. We are a Rip Curl wetsuit Pro center so you'll use the latest material of this leading brand. But feel free to bring your own equipment!
